General Networking


How to share your wireless internet connectivity via Ethernet cable to your Desktop/laptop.

Construct a straight cable. (If new to networking and need assistance in constructing wait for my next blog for detail information)




Connect your new desktop/laptop to the PC which has a internet connection.

PC 1

Enable Internet Connection Sharing on the wireless network connection:

Press Windows Key+R , type ncpa.cpl  in the box, and click OK.

Right-click the wireless network connection.

Click Advanced .

Put a checkmark in the Internet Connection Sharing box.

PC 2

Make Sure both system lies under same workgroup name and same class of IP address.
